Proverbs 8:7 “Wisdom Speaking”

“For my mouth will speak truth, wickedness is an abomination to my lips.”
The mouth of wisdom speaks truth. Wickedness is an abomination to the lips of wisdom. Lying is an abomination to God. As Christians, it is our duty to maintain propriety in our speaking. Lies, perverse words, wicked jokes, and innuendos must all be put far from our lips for sadden the heart of the righteous and strengthen the hands of the wicked. Speaking words of truth that encourage and reflect the light of our Savior will draw unbelievers out of the darkness.
